The path

The forty

All of them, open, in order. Nothing is held back and nothing is asked for.

One a day. Read it aloud, sit in silence with it, and carry the question into your day. Then close this and go and live.

You can read all forty this afternoon. It will do nothing. The desert is not the words, it is the forty mornings, and there is no way to have the one without the other.

If you would rather one arrived each morning without you having to remember, the emails do that. It is the same forty days either way.

Before you start, read what to do with them: it is said once and then never again. The threshold.
